"For as long as I could remember, the plan was to be a singer. This was progressing nicely when a meeting with a presenting agent changed everything and I was propelled into the world of children’s TV. He was passionate about radio & insisted that this was the best training ground for a broadcaster. He was right, and thankfully, in Wave 105 I found a station which valued individuality, creativity & above all, real engagement with its listeners.
It’s been an amazing journey. I’ve interviewed actors, entertainers, pop stars, top athletes & countless ‘men in uniform’. I’ve travelled across Europe engaging in one of the world’s most exciting sports, experienced ‘a life on the ocean waves’ with the Royal Navy and performed for royalty. I could go on & on. It’s a cracking job!"
